DE SMET, S.D. (AP) - De Smet will be South Dakota's Capital for a Day on Friday.
Activities for the day include a Main Street walk, meetings around town, a coffee hour with Gov. Dennis Daugaard and tours.
A roundtable discussion about how to keep the next generation in South Dakota will take place at the De Smet High School gymnasium from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Citizens are invited to attend.
A coffee and constituent hour will be held in the gym from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Residents will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with Gov. Daugaard.
The day will conclude with two ribbon-cutting ceremonies and tours of Sheyenne Dakota and American Engineered Products.
