A Watertown man is facing charges in Brookings after a Saturday
evening incident.  The 18-year-old is accused of running into five
different vehicles.

Brookings police say it was reported at about 8:15 p.m. when
a caller said that a driver had hit a couple of vehicles on the
1800 block of Torrey Pines Dr.

An officer went to the scene and found the car with the driver
inside. He reportedly apologized for hitting the cars.

It turns out a total of five vehicles were hit in that area.  The
driver has been charged with driving under the influence,
underage consumption, open container, and five counts of
failure to report an accident.

Damage estimates are not yet available.
