PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - Gov. Dennis Daugaard is asking that all
flags in South Dakota be flown at half-staff to recognize the 70th
anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Daugaard's request is in effect from 8 a.m. Wednesday until
sunset. It's in accordance with a proclamation by President Barack
Obama.
The Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor brought the U.S. into World
