RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Authorities say a 15-year-old Rapid City
girl has died from injuries sustained when she and a companion fell
about 35 feet through a skylight at Dakota Middle School.
Officers responded to the emergency at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday
morning. They found a 15-year-old girl outside who said her friends
had fallen through the rooftop skylight.
The injured girls were taken to a Rapid City hospital, where one teen
was pronounced dead Tuesday night. The other 15-year-old girl was
listed in critical condition.
Their names have not been released.
