A Volga man is found dead in a burned vehicle north of Arlington.
Authorities were called to the scene around 6:30 Thursday morning
when the fire was spotted.  When first responders arrived, the
pickup truck was fully engulfed in flames.

The Brookings County Sheriff's Department says the pickup truck was
partially in the north ditch and was extensively burned.

A body found in the pickup has been identified as 27-year-old Sheldon
Hornback of Volga.

It's believed that the fire was caused by dry grass igniting under the
vehicle, as the pickup was stuck partially in the ditch.

The Sheriff's Office says alcohol is believed to be a factor.

The incident is under investigation.  The Badger Fire Department and
Arlington Ambulance also responded.
