The time is here. The time of year when all deer hunters get that excited look in their eye, when the hair on the back of their necks stands on end (I wish those guys would have that hair shaved - disgusting) and when the stories of just how big that buck "was" are told to buddies everywhere. It's Black Hills Deer season!! Yes, I am one of those Great White Hunters in search of that Trophy Buck. (No- I do not have a forest of hair growing on my neck - I take pride in personal hygene. I've actually been called a bit of a metro-sexual.)
Today we load the 4-wheelers, pack the truck and head west young man to the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Watch out Lead and Deadwood! Ahh- 12 grown men in a cabin doing what grown men do when they get together on a hunting trip. You know, visiting, playing board games and delving into each others feelings.....NOT! Poor cleaning lady that has to come in on Monday.
I know, you're all thinkg 'boy I sure hope DeBeer doesn't get lost out there in the wilderness", that is what you're thinking right?! Well never fear I'll have the network with me and my Wireless World Morning Show will be safe in the deep woods of Deer Mountain. I'm sure I'll have stories to share, and some not to share, with you on Tuesday when i return. Until then, enjoy the beautiful weekend ahead of us and have a happy and safe Halloween!!
DeBeer Out.

Well, we are venturing into the world of blogging here at Brookings Radio. As if I don't irritate you enough every morning from 6-10 on the Wireless World Morning Show on KCountry 102.3, now I get to communicate with you through a blog. Aren't you lucky. Over the next couple of months, I'll let you in on "my world". What is it like to spend a day inside my head. First off, there is plenty of room up there for all of us. Although many times it fills up fast with random thoughts about nothing in particular.
What's it like to walk a day in my shoes? That's the question I will attempt to answer through various stories of daily, weekly and even hourly occurences in "my world". Don't get me wrong, I'm not living some crazy go nuts kind of lifestyle where i'm up all night partying like a rockstar. In fact if I'm up all night it's because of heartburn or my small bladder. (Sorry, I know, too much information.) Anyway, I look forward to passing along sometimes useful but normally useless information about anything and everything that comes up throughout my life. Don't worry, I'm not gonna tell any deep, dark secrets that may scar you for life, although I've been told I have that effect.
Feel free to comment on any and all posts I leave on my blog, but remember, I get the last word cuz I control the microphone. HAHAHAHA! Until next time, keep on listening to Brookings County's Country Music Station, KCOUNTRY 102.3!
