Brookings Police are investigating a burglary at the
softball complex.
According to Lieutenant Derrick Powers, it was reported
Friday morning and happened sometime between then and
11:30 the night before.
Someone forced their way through the stand's rollup
window and stole about $160 worth of beer.
Some $1,500 damage was done to the
window.
In addition, a car in the parking lot had a window broken
out. It was rummaged through but nothing was stolen.
There are currently no suspects.
