One business fails in the latest liquor sting conducted
by the Brookings County Sheriff's Department.
The Corner Gas & Goodies in White failed the compliance
check Thursday and sold to a 19-year-old buyer.
A total of 11 businesses were checked.
At the last compliance check in March, 3 businesses
failed out of the 11 that were tested.
An offending license holder face possible sanctions
from the State Department of Revenue. First offenders
are subject to a fine.
