SD Pilot Injured in Crop Duster Crash



 

ESTELLINE, S.D. (AP) - A pilot was injured when his
crop-spraying airplane crashed just after takeoff from the
Estelline airport in eastern South Dakota.
     Deuel County Emergency Manager Randy Petrick says
the plane went down in a field Tuesday evening. The
pilot was taken to a Watertown hospital. Officials say he is
expected to make a full recovery. He was not immediately
identified.
     The Federal Aviation Administration will help investigate the
crash.
