SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A man was killed and a woman seriously
injured in a head-on collision in the Sioux Falls area.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a car driven by 41-year-old
Neil Thompson of Sioux Falls crossed the center line west of Rowena
on Wednesday afternoon and collided with a sport utility vehicle.
Thompson was dead at the scene. The 52-year-old Sioux Falls
woman driving the SUV was taken to a hospital with injuries that
authorities described as serious but not life-threatening.
