RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Rapid City police have identified a
suspect they say tried to rob two casinos in four days.
Authorities are searching for 26-year-old Julia Peters of Rapid
City.
Police say that late Sunday, Peters entered Market Square
Casino, threatened a clerk with a large knife and then fled with an
undetermined amount of money.
The latest attempt came early Wednesday, when Peters allegedly
walked into a Happy Jacks Casino with a machete and demanded money
from a clerk. The clerk refused, and Peters fled.
Peters is described as about 5'4" and weighing about 160
pounds, with long brown hair. Authorities believe she is still in
the area.
