A Brookings man is found guilty on all five counts of possession of child
pornography.
Joseph Bryant, age 22, was convicted Friday by a Brookings County jury.
Bryant was accused of having the images on his computer. The jury
deliberated for about five-and-a-half hours Friday before reaching
the verdict at about 5:00 p.m.
Bryant will be sentenced on August 23rd. The judge ordered a presentence
investigation and a psyco-sexual exam. Bryant is out on bond until sentencing.
Each count carries a maximum sentence of ten years in prison and a
$20,000 fine.
