Huron Woman Dies After Being Hit in Parking Lot

     HURON, S.D. (AP) - Huron police say a woman died after being
struck by a vehicle in a Wal-Mart parking lot.
     Authorities say that 75-year-old Charlene Edelman was walking to
her vehicle last Thursday when she was hit by a pickup truck that was
backing up.
     Edelman was flown to a Sioux Falls hospital, where she died.
