BALTIC, S.D. (AP) - Searchers looking for a teenager who
disappeared Monday night on a turbulent stretch of the Big Sioux
River in southeast South Dakota on Wednesday pulled a body from the
river in the Baltic area.
Minnehaha County Sheriff Mike Milstead says authorities believe
it is the body of 17-year-old Andrew Hanneman of Colton, who want
missing while with a group of people who were tubing on the river
from Dell Rapids to Baltic. Hanneman disappeared after going over a
small dam.
Milstead says the body is being taken to a Sioux Falls hospital
for a positive identification.
