PLANKINTON, S.D. (AP) - A toddler who went missing in a
southeast South Dakota corn field overnight has been found safe
after 10 hours.
Two-year-old Taydon Faulhaber walked out of the field near Plankinton
on his own about 7 a.m. Monday when his mother called out to him over
a loudspeaker. Authorities say the boy walked out of the opposite side of
the field from where he entered.
The boy was reported missing about 9 p.m. Sunday when he was in
the field with his father and ran off. Nearly 200 authorities,
volunteers and dogs searched for him.
