Fisherman Rescued

COLTON, S.D. (AP) - A fisherman who was blown out of his boat
and wound up on an island was rescued by helicopter from a South
Dakota lake early Saturday morning.
Authorities say search lights on the helicopter spotted the
67-year-old Sioux Falls man on Island Lake near Colton. The man was
signaling for help by waving his arms.
The Sanford Health helicopter landed on the island and picked up
the man. His condition is not known.
Authorities say the man was fishing on the lake Friday afternoon
when strong winds knocked him out of his boat. He told rescuers he
had been in the water for a couple of hours before making his way
to shore.
The man was wearing a life jacket.
