RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Authorities say a 78-year-old Piedmont
man was killed after being run over by a tractor pulling a baler.
Authorities say Donley "Jack" Wilson went to the field about
7:30 a.m. Monday and was baling hay alone. His family attempted to
contact him about an hour later. A family member later found him
and called for help.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Chief Deputy Tom Wilts of the Meade County Sheriff's Office
says that it appeared to be a "very unfortunate agriculture accident."
