Fatal Car Crash



RELIANCE, S.D. (AP) - Five people were killed and four others
were injured in a fiery two-vehicle crash in southeast South
Dakota.
     Authorities say a car with three people and a car with six
people collided head-on at a hill crest Tuesday afternoon, and both
vehicles were engulfed in flame. The Highway Patrol did not
immediately identify the victims of the crash on a rural road nine
miles northwest of Reliance.
     The driver and three passengers were killed in the car with six
people. The other two passengers were taken to a Chamberlain
hospital with serious injuries.
     One passenger in the other car died at the scene. The other two
occupants were taken to the Chamberlain hospital, the driver with
serious injuries and the other passenger with minor injuries.
