Brookings Man Lands Vintage Plane With Gear Up

FARGO, N.D. (AP) - The pilot of a Chinese-made trainer airplane
that landed without its landing gear down at a weekend air show in
North Dakota says he doesn't know yet what went wrong.
Jeffrey Boulware of Brookings says that he needs to consult with
the Federal Aviation Administration, which is investigating the Sunday
incident at an air show in Fargo.
Boulware is a retired Air Force colonel and an aviation program
leader at South Dakota State University. He says he hopes to find a
new propeller and other parts quickly so he can fly his Nanchang
C-J 6 plane back to Brookings.
