Brookings police are investigating a Monday residential burglary. Police Lt.
Derrick Powers it happened on the 100 block of 2nd St. South in the Broad
Acre Mobile Home Court.
He says it happened sometime between 7:40 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday. Entry
was forced through a door and several items were stolen. Powers says two
TV's, including one large flatscreen, two gaming systems, games and a laptop
computer were all taken.
Police would like to talk to an individual who was seen in the area. He's described
as a tall white male, in his 40's, wearing a ball cap and unkempt-looking. The man
may have been driving an older, large car that's possibly red in color.
