A Brookings man is injured in a Saturday afternoon motorcycle accident.
It happened shortly before 1:00 p.m. at 5th Street and Medary. According
to police, 29-year-old Daniel Carter turned onto Medary and accelerated.
The throttle got stuck and Carter lost control.
He was taken by ambulance to the Brookings Hospital. The extent of his
injuries are not known.
The 2008 motorcycle appeared to be a total loss.
