The Brookings City Council meets this evening and liquor will again be a
prime topic.
The Council is set to hear the presentation from Buffalo Wild Wings that's
part of their application for a liquor license. The city has one standard
license left.
The Council is also set to discuss the fee for the standard liquor operating
agreement. The current fee is 25-thousand dollars.
Then on their agenda, discussion and possible action on awarding the last
remaining license to one of the four applicants: Main Street Pub, Old
Market Eatery, Whiskey Creek, Buffalo Wild Wings.
There will also soon be restaurant-only licenses available but at a cost of
100-thousand dollars.
The regular council meeting begins at 6:00 this evening.
