SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Gov. Dennis Daugaard is asking that all
flags in South Dakota be flown at half-staff on Thursday in honor
of a National Guard soldier who died a noncombat accident in
Afghanistan.
Officials say 21-year-old Dennis G. Jensen of Sioux Falls died
Aug. 16 while working on a bridge project in Afghanistan.
Jensen's funeral is slated for Thursday in Yankton. Burial, with
full military honors, will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery
near Sturgis.
