MILBANK, S.D. (AP) - A Milbank man is dead after a two-vehicle
crash about four miles east of the northeast South Dakota city.
The Highway Patrol says 34-year-old Chad Mielitz was driving a
pickup truck that collided head-on with a semitrailer that crossed
the center line shortly before 7 p.m. Monday.
Mielitz died at the scene. The semi driver was taken to a
Milbank hospital with what the patrol described as minor injuries.
