SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Authorities say four fires late Monday
and early Tuesday in Sioux Falls are believed to be the work of
arsonists.
Fires were reported overnight in a garage, a shed and a
Dumpster, starting at 11 p.m. Monday, and a utility trailer fire
was reported about 9 a.m. Tuesday. Fire inspector Barry Maag said that officials believe the
blazes were set deliberately, based on the behavior of the fires
and their locations.
Maag says a string of fires in such a short period of time is
uncommon in Sioux Falls.
No injuries were reported in any of the fires.
