PARKER, S.D. (AP) - A 29-year-old Parker woman has been
sentenced to 15 years in prison for hitting and killing a woman
while driving under the influence
Christina Clemens had ingested cocaine, an opiate and marijuana when she hit 44-year-old
Tamera Sanner with her Ford Expedition on Oct. 7
Sanner died from her injuries three days later.
Clemens had faced more than a dozen charges, including
manslaughter and pleaded not guilty. But, through a plea deal, she
pleaded guilty to lesser charges of vehicular homicide and hit and
run.
