RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A former South Dakota sheriff's deputy
who pleaded guilty to child pornography charges is to be sentenced
Monday.
Twenty-seven-year-old William Wray pleaded guilty in June to six
counts of possessing, manufacturing and distributing child porn.
He faces up to 60 years in prison and $120,000 in fines. He is likely
to get less because of his plea agreement with prosecutors.
Wray was arrested in January and suspended from duty as a
Pennington County deputy after the mother of a boy filed a
complaint. Wray eventually was indicted on 28 counts and fired.
