BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) - The Consul General of Mexico for the
upper Midwest will hold a presentation about U.S.-Mexico relations
at South Dakota State University on Monday.
Ana Luisa Fajer will talk about trade relationships, economic
development opportunities, immigration, border security and tourism
during the presentation. She will also answer audience questions at
the conclusion of her presentation.
The 7 p.m. presentation is free to the public.
Fajer will be in Brookings until Wednesday to meet with
community leaders and SDSU administrators. She will also meet with
managers of nearby factories and agricultural sites, where many
Mexican workers are employed.
