PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — A trial for a South Dakota woman accused of shooting her husband to death last year has been postponed.
Connie Hirsch's trial was scheduled to start Oct. 24 in Pierre but has pushed back to a later date.
Hirsch, of Blunt, will likely not stand trial until next year. The trial is expected to last two weeks.
Hirsch has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder for the May 9, 2010, shooting death of her husband, 65-year old Jerold Hirsch, at their home east of Pierre.
