Man Pleads Guilty to Trafficking Eagles



     SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A 40-year-old South Dakota man pleaded
guilty to two counts of illegally trafficking eagles.
     U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Tilden Reddest, of Batesland,
pleaded guilty Thursday to selling two eagle feather fans in July
2009.
     On the first count, he faces one year in prison, a $100,000
fine, or both. The second count carries a maximum sentence of one
year in prison, a $250,000 fine, or both.
     Reddest will be sentenced Dec. 29.
