Fairness of SF Mayor's Talk Questioned

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether has made
it no secret that he favors a proposed new events center in South
Dakota's largest city, but some people are wondering whether he
went too far at a Rotary club luncheon on Monday.
Huether spoke to more than 150 people, and said he was "going to
advocate" for the proposed $115 million events center. Critics say
his PowerPoint presentation and handout created with public money
were one-sided.
City Attorney Dave Pfeifle says the presentation was
for informational purposes, and any opinions expressed by Huether
were personal opinions.
Attorney General Marty Jackley says he has received at least two
comments about Huether's presentation. He says he needs to research
the matter before commenting.
