SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A 29-year-old South Dakota man has
pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman who was asleep on his
mother's couch.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Loren Larrabee, of Little
Eagle, pleaded guilty to a charge of sexual abuse of a person
incapable of consenting in U.S. District Court Monday.
Prosecutors say a woman who went to visit Larrabee's mother's
house in May 2008 fell asleep on the couch in the living room.
Larrabee, who lived with his mother, got up to go to the bathroom,
saw the woman and sexually assaulted her.
Larrabee, who was remanded to the U.S. Marshal, faces life in
prison and a $250,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Jan. 9.
