A Brookings man is sentenced to four-years probation and 75-days in
jail for possession of child pornography.
Thirty-year-old Jason Lam must also register as a sex offender, pay a
500-dollar fine, complete any recommended treatment and pay the
19-hundred dollar cost of his psycho-sexual exam. He must also submit
to random searches.
The execution of a four-year prison term was suspended as long as
Lam meets the conditions of his probation.
Lam said he was sorry for what he had done and that it would never
happen again.
