Plans Progressing for Wind Farm Near Tripp

TRIPP, S.D. (AP) - Officials of B&H Wind say a plan to build a
wind farm near Tripp in southern South Dakota is progressing as
planned.
Company Vice President Bruce Voigt of Tyndall says B&H has
agreements to use land and the area is an ideal location for a wind farm.
However, specifics of the project are still being studied. Voigt
says that before the size of the wind farm can be decided, buyers
need to be found for the electricity that would be produced.
He also says it's impossible to estimate the project's cost
until a more detailed plan is developed.
Tripp is located about 35 miles south of Mitchell.
