SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A 36-year-old South Dakota woman has
been sentenced to more than three years in prison for involuntary
manslaughter.
U.S. District Judge Charles B. Kornmann ordered Lee Ann Brown on
Monday to serve 40 months in prison, three years of supervised
released and pay $3,000 in restitution.
Prosecutors say Brown, of Bull Head, killed a man she was living
with by stabbing him with a knife after they got into an argument
in November 2008.
Brown pleaded guilty to the manslaughter charge in July.
