SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A 22-year-old South Dakota man has
pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny.
U.S. Attorney Brendan V. Johnson says Laverne White Horse faces
five years in prison, a $250,000 fine, or both when he is sentenced
Jan. 10.
The charge stems from a January 2009 incident in Mission.
Prosecutors say White Horse and another person saw a car with the
keys in it and stole it.
The two then then took the car and drove to a house to pick up
two other passengers. The four drove around town before going to
Antelope Dam where the car was wrecked. The car was considered a
total loss.
