Woman Pleads Guilty in Large Drug Bust

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - One of the people charged in what
authorities say is one of the biggest busts on record in southwest
South Dakota's Fall River County has pleaded guilty to a drug
conspiracy charge.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says 22-year-old Autumn Mangione
of Potter, Neb., faces up to five years in federal prison and a
$250,000 fine when she is sentenced next Jan. 13. She is free on
bond.
Prosecutors say Mangione and others distributed marijuana in
South Dakota and other states between September 2009 and last
April. Authorities said they seized 10 pounds of marijuana, more
than $50,000 in cash and two handguns during a bust of a Hot
Springs home in March.
