Man Pleads Not Guilty to Vehicular Homicide

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A Box Elder man accused of driving drunk
in a crash that killed his passenger has pleaded not guilty to
vehicular homicide and driving under the influence.
Thirty-one-year-old Jason Soldwisch faces up to 15 years in
prison if convicted. Defense attorney John Rusch said in court
Tuesday that he is negotiating a plea deal with prosecutors.
Authorities say a vehicle driven by Soldwisch went off the road
in Rapid City and rolled several times on Aug. 11, killing
31-year-old Jason Burke of Rockerville.
