Two Area Men Injured in Accidents

     A rural Volga resident is injured in a hunting accident.  According to
the Brookings County Sheriff's Department, it happened about 5:25 p.m.
on Sunday. 
     Fifity-eight-year-old Warren Quail was hunting in a field near his home
when he accidentally shot himself in the hand with his 20-gauge shotgun. 
     Quail was taken to the Brookings Hospital for treatment of
the injury.

     The Sheriff's Department also reports an injury accident involving a
four-wheeler. It happened shrotly before 11:30 Saturday morning at a
rural Volga residence.
     Forty-five-year-old Daniel Ziegler was operating the four-wheeler in
his yard and ran into a John Deere Digger. Ziegler was thrown form the
4-wheeler into the digger.
     He was taken by ambulance to the Brookings Hospital for treatment
of unknown injuries.
