Coach of Refugee Soccer Team at SDSU



BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) - The coach and founder of an all-refugee
soccer team will be at South Dakota State University on Wednesday
to talk about her involvement with refugees, the plight of the
children she helps and what they teach her in return.
     Luma Mufleh will present "Changing the World One Game at a
Time," at 7 p.m. on the SDSU campus as part of the Griffith Honors
Forum Lecture. The event is open to the public. Free tickets can be

     Mufleh is an immigrant from Jordan. In 2004, Mufleh created a
soccer team especially for refugees in Clarkston, Ga, that offers
tutoring and teaches discipline to the players.
