Brookings baseball standout Landon Busch has signed a national letter of intent with the Kansas State University program.  Busch says about ten schools expressed interest - Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota State and the University of Sioux Falls also made offers.
    Last summer, Busch posted a 7-1 record for the Brookings American Legion baseball team.  In 122 innings, he notched 103 strikeouts, allowed 27 walks, and posted a .068 ERA.  The Bandits finished 38-14, and placed third in the state tournament.
    Busch has also been a first team All-ESD Conference selection in football and basketball.
