WATERTOWN, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota Wind Energy Association
is holding a membership meeting in Watertown next week.
Executive Director Ron Rebenitsch says the Nov. 29 meeting at
Lake Area Technical Institute provides an opportunity to bring
together people interested in the wind industry and to share the
ways wind energy has benefitted South Dakota.
Rebenitsch says it also provides a forum to explore the many
opportunities that still exist for expanding the industry.
The 9 a.m. meeting will feature several speakers and conclude in
the afternoon with the dedication of a 100 kilowatt wind turbine,
which will be used as a training tool for Lake Area Tech students.
