SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Sen. Tim Johnson is hosting a farm bill
listening session in Sioux Falls on Tuesday.
The 10:30 a.m. session at the American Coalition for Ethanol
headquarters will also feature representatives from the USDA, the
South Dakota farm bureau, farmers union, corn growers association,
soybean association, pork producers council and South Dakota State
University.
American Coalition of Ethanol Executive Vice President Brian
Jennings says the farm bill plays a critical role in providing a
safety net for America's farmers and ranchers. He says it has
included important biofuel provisions in the past that industry
officials want to maintain.
