SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A South Dakota man convicted of
multiple rapes over several years has been sentenced to 30 years in
prison without parole.
A federal jury convicted 25-year-old James Bruguier Jr. of Lake
Andes in August on charges of sexual abuse, aggravated sexual
abuse, sexual abuse of a minor and burglary.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says the crimes involved sexual
assaults on an adult and two teenagers from the Yankton Sioux
reservation, in 2004, 2005, 2010 and this year.
