RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - More rock is being blasted away at the
Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota.
Crazy Horse mountain carvers have scheduled a 500-ton blast
between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Visitors to the memorial last week saw a 600-ton blast in an
area 340 feet below the top of the carved Crazy Horse face.
Despite winter cold and snow, Crazy Horse Memorial President
Ruth Ziolkowski (jew-uhl-KUFF'-skee) says carvers are planning
nearly weekly blasts.
People can watch the blast on the Crazy Horse Memorial website
at crazyhorsememorial.org.
