Brookings police arrest a 48-year-old man for allegedly having
sexual contact with a three-year-old girl.
Lt. Derrick Powers says they received a report last week from
a woman who said her daughter had made some statements
that concerned her about an adult male and being touched
inappropriately.
Powers says they brought the man in for questioning and he
admitted to having sexual contact with the girl.
The Brookings man was placed under arrest on two counts
of sexual contact with a child under 16. He was taken to
the Brookings County Jail.
