YANKTON, S.D. (AP) - A mobile home fire in Yankton killed an
elderly woman.
Emergency responders pulled the woman from the smoke-filled
burning home Tuesday afternoon and were able to revive her, but she
later died at a hospital. Authorities did not immediately release
her name.
Assistant Fire Chief Larry Nickles says neighbors who spotted
smoke called in the fire. The cause wasn't immediately determined.
