WATERTOWN, S.D. (AP) - Authorities say one woman has died in a
Friday morning house fire in Watertown.
Assistant Fire Chief Mike Oletzke says that crews responded to a
911 call at about 3 a.m.
Oletzke says firefighters found smoke in the house and an
unresponsive female. He says the woman was taken to a local
hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Oletzke says there was one other occupant of the home, and that
person was treated for smoke inhalation.
No names have been released.
Oletzke says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
