HARRISBURG, S.D. (AP) - A woman hurt in a South Dakota house explosion
that severely injured her father says she was knocked unconscious by the
blast but came to in time to save her father's life.

Twenty-four-year-old Nataliya Shkinder says she went outside the house
after regaining consciousness but went back in when she heard her
49-year-old father, Yuriy, calling for help.

She drove him to a Sioux Falls hospital, where he was airlifted to a
Minneapolis-area burn center with burns an about one-fourth of his body.
She was treated at the Sioux Falls hospital for minor injuries.

The blast happened midafternoon Monday in a small rural development
about five miles northwest of Harrisburg. The cause hasn't been determined
but officials have said it might be tied to propane gas.
