A Brookings woman is injured when she's hit by a car while crossing
a street.
Police Lt. Derrick Powers says it happened about 8:00 Wednesday
morning on the 1000 of Medary Avenue. He says 63-year-old Dolores
O'Neill was crossing Medary when she was hit by a car driven by
21-year-old Kassandra Roggenbuck of Revillo.
O'Neill was taken by ambulance to the Brookings Hospital. The
extent of her injuries are not known.
Roggenbuck told police she did not see O'Neill. She was issued
an obstructed vision citation.
